Guest guest
Actually, I think the drug you may be looking for is Trinsicon, or Ferricon, or another of the " con " ending names. It has iron, " C " , B12, and intrinsic factor in it. We do not absorb the B12 without intrinsic factor, and that is made in the lower part of the stomach. So we have to do sublingual B12, or injections, or the prescription, whichever works for our particular bodies. So far, I have been level with the sublinguals. I also take carbonyl iron tabs, 2 (25 mg each) with a chewable " C " twice a day, and my iron levels are fine. But that's ME, and not someone else. Some one else can't absorb what I can. Good luck. Be sure to get your labs done often (minimum every 6 months) and check the patterns that develop! Alice in NY
