Anthem BCBS Blue Prefered/HMO/TT

Hello Everyone,

I didn't know if anyone has Anthem BCBS Blue Prefered HMO here

in Indiana. I wondered if anyone has had a tummy tuck through this

insurance and if it was a big hassle getting things approved etc. I

go see a plastic surgeon on friday. He is on the insurance list. My

ex-sister in law works for anthem and looked at the criteria for this

and they have four guidelines they go by from what she said. They

are: skin hangs below pubis area, 100 pounds lost for at least 6

months or 18 mo. post op wls, current rashes or sores recording with

doctor for over three months, and daily problems of living. I don't

meet all of these, so, I am getting discouraged. I have lost 100

pounds and am 14 months post op, but, that is about all I think I

meet except it causes me trouble in fitting into clothes the right

way, etc. I would appreciate any advice out there. Thanks.....Donna
