re: red bumps around mouth

my 17 mo old had red bumps around her mouth for about

2 1/2 months a nurse said to use vasaline...DID NOT

work...i finally went to a doc... he said to use

lotrimin....it is over the counter...the

pharmasist...gave us the generic one from rite

aid..clotrimazole...the doc said to apply it 2 times a

day... becareful not to get it in the mouth and

eyes... apply a very thin coat...rub it in all the

way... hali's went away in just 1 day.... neva

yes it is related...i believe...she smelled

yeasty....wierd huh...she also had a white tongue and

white spots in her mouth...any way i took her back to

the the doc and told them i thought that she had

thrush. they said no way...and insisted that it was

her 1st fever blister...i convinced them to give me a

script for nystatin...i also created a paste of

accidolphilus that i coated her mouth with 2x a day.

you know after just 1 day she was quite a bit better.

this is a child that has NEVER had antibiotics. i

didn't have any when i was pregnant. she had thrush

when she was 6 days old too. it makes me wonder... i

was told that i had a candida infection throughout my

body when i was 22. i had to do what he called the

candida diet and colen cleansing. i had a lot of

recurrent problems before that but not after. since

having hali, i have begun to have the same recurrent

problems. makes you go hummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. no dance

on this...lol neva

---My son has only had antibiotics 2 times.When he was a newborn he

had a red ring around his inner butt and it was raw for weeks.No

matter what I tried nothing worked until I found out about calandula.

He now has bad yeast. makes me wonder too as I was on amoxycillin when

I found out I was pregnant with him.
