Hello everyone....

This is my first time posting here. So i'll give you my back ground

in a nutshell. Basically i had the VBG in Nov2000, In June of 2001 i

started having major problems. I couldn't keep anything down. They

scoped me dialated me, didn't work. I started throwing up blood etc..

Doc looked at Upper GI pic's said nothing was wrong. I went 3hrs away

for a 2nd opinion. 4 days later i was in surgery, it was very clear

to Dr.Ballairo i had a band stricture from the pictures. Anyways

during surgery they discovered that the band erroded through my

stomach caused a HUGE gastric ulcer so they did the bypass the best

they could and removed 95% of my stomach. That was done Dec2001. My

beginning weight was 330 1st surgery 2nd i was 208. Back in July I

got down to 165lbs. NOw i am starting to slowy gain this weight back.

i dont see what i am doing wrong. I have no clue what to think. Now i

am back up to 194. I got down to a size 12 now i am back up to a 16.

I am just distressed have no clue what to think. I dont have the

sense of feeling full. I thought this was in my head like depression

or something, so i did start seeing a psych for behaviour mods. But

that hasn't helped me. I honestly feel like i am hungry all the time.

When i take my ADHD meds it kills my appetite, but that wears off and

it is like i am starving so i eat.... I swear i can eat alot. I know

it's possible for the stomach to stretch back out. So i really don't

know what to think or do. I am going to see my internist friday,

anything i could suggest to him some test or something to find out

what is going on. I would hate to go back to the surgeon who did the

2nd surgery, for i would feel really ashamed. Any advice would be

helpful.....
