Subject: Off Topic, Domestic Trouble, HELP!!!

Hello to All,

Two months ago my middle daughter who is 25 needed help so against my

better judgement I pre-paid $1,800.00 for a rental truck so they

could move across country. They were coming here then on to Colorado

where the boyfriend supposidly is co-owner of a residence. Well, they

and their two year old have been in my home ever since. He did pay

me back the $1,800.00 BUT while using my van, they have had two

accidents causing $3,000 in damages to my van. He had the gaul to

speak to a lawyer who told him he is not responsible for damages

since the van was parked at the time of the damage, even though he

had borrowed the van and was in control of it at that time. So, he

told me he wasn't going to pay for damages, when I said you will, he

said perhaps in a few weeks he could start paying on the damages but

first he had to buy stuff he wanted. And all this time they are

living absolutly free in my home, eating my food and using my

utilities. And, he said if I make him pay damages then they will be

here with me until spring because all the winter rentals will be gone

by the time he finishes pay back.

Today, my daughter had a screaming fit at me and I told her to pack

their bags and move out because I had had enough. She went ino the

guilt trip on me, telling her little one that see how grandma

doesn't love you, would put you out on the street etc etc etc.

Thankfully, when he came in from work, they packed up their van and

left. I said the rest of their stuff would be put out in front

tomorrow for them to pick up.

This daugher has always been the hard one to deal with. She has

always done what she wanted and cried foul when things didn't go her

way. Her sisters don't even like her, in fact they wouldn't have

anything to do with her, but as Mom, my hope springs eternal. Just

maybe she has finally grown up and will behave now. Reminds me of

the defination of insanity, doing the same thing over and over,

expecting different results.

Two of her sisters are coming here tomorrow to help me get her stuff

out of my house and stay around while the locks get re-keyed.

Tonight I am really scared because they had my house and van keys for

weeks, could have made copies of them. I've barracaded the doors and

checked the windows to be sure they are locked, my phone keeps

ringing and the person calling hangs up after I say hello a few

times. I never get hang up calls, like maybe one a year and have had

four already tonight.

I wish I had a Dove bar or a pint of Haagen-Dazs to drown these

feelings with. Ice cream is so comforting. Gad Zooks, listen to

the old tapes playing.

Have any of you gone through this kind of hell? Anyone with a kind

word please email me off list so we don't clog up the list with off

topic, I just didn't know where else to go for support but here.

Wish me well, I so need it now.

Hugs,

Suzi>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
