Guest guest
I think this part is excellent info and suggested strategy from for Gaylene... esp the part about EXPERIENCED doc. I don't know if you have noticed, but there are in last 2 years huge numbers of general surgeons, aftercare peope, lawyers, etc., jumping on what they seem to see as a bariatric " pork-barrel--haha " (as one small clutch of docs at hosp cafeteria put it recently thinking thier conversation could not be overheard.) Some of the more solid earlier pioneering docs are seeing the competition for patients heat up dramaticay with no end yet in sight. What this means for the patient, is BE CAREFUL. You have a choice. Go with someone who has done, as noted, massive numbers of gastric bypasses, who has an impeccable rep. Thanks , nice post. love, ceep << the way to really find out is to have a consultation with a different doc, someone who's been doing WLS for at least 5-10 years, has an impeccable reputation, someone who does all types of WLS, and tell them about the gain and that you don't know why it's happening, and you're considering a revision >>
