I think this part is excellent info and suggested strategy from for

Gaylene... esp the part about EXPERIENCED doc. I don't know if you have

noticed, but there are in last 2 years huge numbers of general surgeons,

aftercare peope, lawyers, etc., jumping on what they seem to see as a

bariatric " pork-barrel--haha " (as one small clutch of docs at hosp cafeteria

put it recently thinking thier conversation could not be overheard.) Some of

the more solid earlier pioneering docs are seeing the competition for

patients heat up dramaticay with no end yet in sight. What this means for the

patient, is BE CAREFUL.

You have a choice. Go with someone who has done, as noted, massive

numbers of gastric bypasses, who has an impeccable rep. Thanks , nice

<< the way to really find out is to have a consultation with a

different doc, someone who's been doing WLS for at least 5-10 years, has an

impeccable reputation, someone who does all types of WLS, and tell them about

the gain and that you don't know why it's happening, and you're considering a

revision >>
