Hi Sue~

Typical doc's reply, sorry to say. In other words, leave it alone until you

are in trouble. After all, being fair, the docs are trouble shooters, and

when they don't see manifestations of the trouble...they prioritize it to the

back burner. The same as you personally watch your labs...you are watching

for these red flags. I'd insist on the scope, and at least satisfy yourself

one way or the other. My two cents worth. =)

Regards~

Hmmm, now you all got me thinking about revisions and such. When I

went for my 4 year visit with Doc we reviewed my UGI. He said that

my pouch was a little enlarged but exactly what he would expect to

see at four years.

I then asked him about the new fullness I've been feeling. Now I

know that many times I can eat more than I could, and other times I

can't hardly eat at all. I know that it has to do with the texture

of the food. Meats don't agree with me at all, tend to get stuck no

matter how much I chew so I rarely attempt them. I can however send

down a bunch of salad or veggies! But I digress.

Now you know how normally when you get full it's up high, between the

boobs? (Ok, maybe for the fellas it's in a different place!) Well

now I feel the food, the fullness more in my abdomen. When food is

stuck and I try to get rid of it, it doesn't come up....just mucus

and saliva usually. So IMHO (not medical at all...just knowing my

body) I think that my outlet is bigger. Don't know if this is a SLD

or not. When I asked Doc about this, his reply was, " it works,

doesn't it? "

Now reading between the Doc lines, and knowing how he is...I see this

as yes, I do have a problem there. But as long as I don't have a

regain, he won't mess with it.

So my friends, waddaya think?

Sue in Las Vegas

(who is probably just looking for trouble!)
