Help with confusion/temperature/infection links/Betty

Hi Betty,

I hope by now you have solved this problem. I have been on the list very

little this week and just read your message. We had a somewhat similar

problem a year or so ago - Gordon became extremely confused and

disoriented and we ended up in the ER. It is a really frightening

experience. It turned out that he was dehydrated. As soon as we got

enough fluids in him he returned to normal (or normal as we know it (-:

) so you might suggest they check for that. Our internist also told us

that severe constipation can cause confusion. Good luck.
