Guest guest
just my two cents worth, I lurked here for two years I think before I could post. I learned alot, and personalities on this list became like the stars of American Bandstand to me. (course a few of them were like out of Creatures from the Black Lgoon too, but they are gone now...) (Just kidding. ) Many of us post to several sites, including the main OSSG site, so there are most often people around who are expereinced post-ops on many other lists as well. I know you can get what you need in many places. I can, and I have had most of the problems in the book re gb. Yet, I would hate to think of any one being turned away if they have an emergency question. Please feel free to email me if it is urgent. But, if it is urgent or an emergency about your health, you don't need any of us, you need a dr., a surgeon and/or an ER. Not too far down the road, you will be post-op and able to post here. It isn't about whether you are able enough, or nice enough, or anything enough, (if it was, they probably wouldn't let me on the list--grin) just be 1 year out, that is all. Hang in there; time goes quickly, especially as we get older, days go by like leaves falling from the trees in autumn. Until you're " old enough, " there's a lot to be learned by lurking. I know. I did it too. I still lurk alot especially when I am not well. But right now I am okay. So are you. love, ceep
