Guest guest Posted October 28, 2002 Report Share Posted October 28, 2002 Personally, I found that when I started drinking tea with Splenda in it, that was when I started craving sweets again. Up until that point a year and a half ago, the only fluids I drank were water and skim milk and of course my protein shakes. Then decided one day to have a cup of tea and used Splenda and some skim milk and started having a cup every night and then noticed that I was scavenging for something " sweet " to have with my tea. Once I figured out this little night time munching thing with me, I tried to stop. Like most of us, had a rough time with it and decided that 2 times a week is ok. Weight for the most part has been stable. If I see my numbers going higher, I now have the presence of mind to put the brakes on and take care of it. Keep telling myself that I will never let it get out of control like I was before wls. But also know never say never. All I can do is try and that's what I do and thus far have been successful with it. Would like to lose another 15-20 lbs., but at this point, exceedingly happy with where I am and if I never lose another pound, would be quite happy. Also, my body seems to like it here.
