Hi,

Just wanted to let you know that Sheldon is again home

from the hospital. He is still yellow and very weak.

We saw the blood specialist and the liver doctor yesterday.

Both are leaning toward the hepatitis being drug induced

from the medication he is taking for the Multiple System

Atrophy, Shy-Drager Syndrome. They are not sure which

medication it is and were going to talk to the neurologist

and see if they put all their heads together they can figure

it out.

The pathologist is leaning toward drug induced hepatitis in the

preliminary results of the biopsy. He still had some more

tests to run.

The liver count went down one more point.

The doctor said that it will still be a couple

more weeks before Sheldon will regain his strength

and the yellow will fade. He is trying

to eat, but still has no appetite. He lost

20 lbs. through this, but hopefully things have

now turned around and he is on his way to recovery.

The doctors conferred yesterday and decided to put

him back on the medicine for the low blood

pressure. I could hardly get him to the doctor

yesterday. He was so weak and was on his way to

passing out several times.

I already see an improvement with the dizzyness

and passing out since he went back on the proamatine,

florinef, and salt tablets. We will go back for

more blood tests and follow up next week, but I

think we are on our way to recovery, God willing.

Thank you all for your support and prayers. I

appreciate your help.

Love and Gentle Hugs,

Verlene

-Verlene,

I am glad to hear how Sheldon is doing. I pray that they find which

drug is causing him harm soon. I am glad that the liver count has

dropped another point. I also pray that Sheldon is on his way to

recovery. Try to get some rest if you can. I know you must be

exhausted.

God Bless you with love and gentle hugs,

Belinda
