Guest guest
>>>> I agree! I thought the 300 lbs loss was " amazing " too! Does anyone know anything more on this person?<<< I don't know a single thing about this particular person but anyone who looses 300 lbs in a year would worry me to no end -- consider that we also loose bone and muscle when loosing fat and very few (if any) physicians, nutritionist or dietitians are likely to put a full blown good regimen of vitamins and minerals into a persons life on a daily basis -- I would fear more for her health now... wonder what her labs look like and if she's done a bone scan Regardless of HOW she took off the weight -- 300 lbs in a year means her body was starving and that means if the right amount and kind of vitamins and minerals were not supplied then health wise -- it was/is not a good thing.... fat cells come and go but bone doesn't... We all have to remember that when we are dumping out those fat cells our bodies don't just automatically " know " not to dump out our muscle cells and our bone cells I gotta ask -- was nutrition ever even MENTIONED on this show???? Why bother to loose even a pound if you loose your health? I can not agree that it is healthy for anyone (surgery or no) to loose 300 lbs in a year -- maybe I'm just not educated enough in that area but I don't see how that drastic of a loss could possibly be healthy -- maybe over a 2 year period with ALL the right nutritional components... I can see that but in a year??? That's just about a pound a day!!! Ok, I'm not saying this for men -- guys don't count since they could probably do this and be healthy because they are just different than women but for a woman that is too fast IMO. hugz, ~denise
