Guest guest
The rains stopped for a while and our flowers were beautiful, so we went to decorate the graves early for Memorial Day. It was late in the day and we were at our next to the last stop in the far end of the cemetery when the battery in the van acted up. Hubby decided after several attempts to hike up the long hill to find some help leaving me with the wheel chair and a Great Dane wondering what if...... Soon an elderly gentleman and two ladies brought him back and jump started our van. We introduced ourselves and not only did the man know where we lived, but also knew some longtime neighbors down our block, where I got my hair cut (that's funny because the lady has a shop in her home and since I can't do her stairs, I take my scooter to her garage and she does me there) and he knew my opinion of a local minister (should keep these to one's self). We're a population of nearly 80,000, yet it's a small world. Dodie in MO
