Vegas Trip

I have to add my 2 cents to this. I attended the ASBS Convention in Las

Vegas last June. I loved it but it was very hot for me so early in the

year. I was also in Vegas in early Nov one year. I found that to be

perfect weather. As Sue said Oct and Nov are cheaper seasons there and

not as crowded. There is a lot to do nearby. The flights are low cost

from almost anywhere in the country.

For those concerned about children in school at that time of year: as a

former teacher, 2 days out of the classroom will not be a big problem.

The enjoyment of this kind of a family trip is worth the absence from

the classroom. The teachers can assign work to be completed on the trip.

Go for it.

Personally, I would probably not go in the warmer months. I look forward

to trips in the fall or early part of the year. It gives you something

to get excited about after the holidays and the drudgery of the winter.

Just my opinion.
