Fred's Neurologist sent him to an urologist because of the UTI's. The Urologist put him on Nitrofuran MCR 50mg Cap everyday. His been on this for a year now.

I think that I would ask your Neurologist to send you to a urologist to see if there is something else that he thinks should be done for these bladder infections that you are getting.

Subject: I need help concerning bladder infections

Hi all,

I know that we have talked several times on here about bladder

infections but I was wondering does someone with this disease have to

take antibiotics longer than a "normal" person does. I have had a

bladder infection took antibiotic for 5 days and then started feeling

better to just start hurting real bad again after 3 or 4 days. I then

go back on the antibiotic and continue with this process. My

neurologist said this isn't his job and my internist knows about

infections but not MSA or CBGD. I have put information about it in my

folder but I think that is as far as it got. If you can help me with

this I would appreciate it.
