Had to take a moment to get started (formal writing style), but once I did, it was like YUM YUM! LOL! Did it you find it so, too? Ethel (whose email I lost with my hard drive crash) sent me this page from a little book written in 1888, recommending the protein, fat & carb g for maintaining the right weight & health. In short, for an 80 y/o woman, 85 g protein a day (smallest amt) and for a lumberjack type man, 185g a day. Fats ran around 50g a day, and carbs, well, who knows what they considered carbs? about 500g a day. I'm thinking maybe; starches, fruits, veggies, nuts, grains, seeds, legumes, dairy.... so then that might make sense Amazing, huh?
