Guest guest
2 months ago a neurologist ,who works at the home where my father is, recommended that my father take l-dopa although my dad's regular neurologist never mentionned this medecine. Since that time, I find that my father is lethargic and that his speach is more diffiult to understand. For some reason the neurologists haven't communicated with each other about the positive or negative effects of the Florinef. I am getting frustrated and I am going to phone his regular neurologist. I need some support though. In your experience can Florinef cause lethargy and more difficulty talking? Are there side-effects if a person takes this and shouldn't? The response I got the last time I inquired about this, on this site, was that 50% of people with MSA benefit from taking l-dopa. Can it be harmful? What symptoms does it help? Thanks, Joanne
