long term complications/health insurance

As I've posted before, my husband wants a divorce. My concern is

health insurance for long term complications. Does anyone know if we

can be refused health insurance because of a pre existing condition.

I have to take b-12 shots every 2 weeks and I've heard between

Gastric Bypass and implants that most insurance companies wouldn't

touch me or if they did it'd be with a huge deductible. I don't

work, never have really, in 17 years, just at a piddly, pocket money

job, so I'm trying to go to college so I can get a real job. He's

military and I was hoping he'd give me 3 years so I'd have health

insurance for life but he's more interested in dating so I don't

think I'm going to get it. Trying to cover my bases. I figure why

bother going to school or making long term plans, if I don't have

health insurance my days are numbered anyway and I might as well stay

home and wait to die but I gotta know if there are options first.

hugs,

Ramoth
