Guest guest
My wonderful cousin at 50 yo went to central american orphanages, twice, and adopted two children as a single mother. Of course she is a high energy woman, with a live in housekeeper, but the joy these kids have brought to her and our family is immessurable. One is getting his own company started and the other is still in college. The boy was living in the steets at three years old and pretty wild, the girl was living in an orphanage and had to be dewormed before coming here. We felt that whatever time cousin had left to her life, the kids were still better off. As it turns out she did marry a wonderful man later on and the two kids wound up having two great older sisters. Sounds like a fairy tail. Point of the story of course is we are never too old to makes changes, that includes my getting ALS at the age of 59.
