Monday Food and Activity.

I thought I would post what I ate and my activity so to share what is working

for me. Maybe others would like to do this too.

6am protein shake

7am handful of assorted vitamins..a meal in itself.

8am big slice watermelon

10am more watermelon

Noon beans and rice

salsa

2pm protein shake

3pm walk two miles

4pm banana

6pm grilled steak on my new george foreman lean mean grilling machine (on sale

at target now for 12.50...takes two large hamburger size) very good. 1/2 potato,

grilled on it too.

8pm watermelon

11pm cheese (it was awful...only ate a bite...yech)

Water throughout the day and evening. I don't drink tea, coffee, or anything

else except water.

It wasn't a very good day for veggies. I also know I am not eating enough

protein. I no longer eat butter by the stick on my food. I actually don't eat

butter at all anymore. I dump.

I am anxiously awaiting my samples coming from Michele and the SF peppermint

patty and the raspberry syrups. I bought a hawaiian ice snow machine for $16 at

Target yesterday too. Hopefully, this will replace my cravings for York

peppermint patties. I don't eat sweets, junk food and such anymore but somewhere

I developed this craving for peppermint and chocolate. I hope to start making

shakes that taste like it.

I have fallen into the bad habit of grazing so I am working on that.

I was working on the weekend...I am a nurse...and was unable to graze like I

usually do. I lost 5 pounds between Saturday morning till Sunday night. Nice to

know the pouch is working just fine. Alot of that loss might be just plain sweat

but I was drinking like a fish.
