You mentioned a liver biopsy in one of your notes. Have you had one? What

was it like? My doc wants to do one, and while I know that many post-ops

have high liver levels and I'm probably fine, I hate to pass on the test....

just in case.

Mine was for crazy ferritin levels. Apparently just as my body can soak up

sugar from across town, I got all B's iron in my liver.

They did make me gaga, I woke up once & felt the device (no pain, only cold

plastic?), and then next I woke was pain in my shoulder and a little owie in

the liver area.

No big deal, was just getting ready to chow down on the sandwich they

brought me and KBLAM, I had to lose my (absolutely nothing). Quite a

violent spasm. So I'm standing there with the little pink bowl and the nurse

goes, " Whatcha doing? " And I go, " Gee, absolutely nothing but it sure

hurt. "

Then on the way home (3 mi?), it hit again. My husband was freaking out

and it was nothing. Who knows? But even dry heaves can be painful.

Funny thing was that I had some diet 7-up on board. Still cold in my

throat. But did I get it back? Noooo. Odder yet, I was putting mayo on

the sandwich, organizing the tomatoes to my liking when this struck. And as

soon as I caught my breath, I still wanted the sandwich. Go figure.
