Guest guest
My father has msa, diagnosed in 1996. My parents dont have access to a computer so I do this for them. Something unusual happened to my dad on Friday night and I wonder if anyone out there has experienced this and if so what did you do? My father(Arno) woke up in the night complaining that he was hot, burning up. My mom (Trudy) said he didnt feel warm but was actually clammy to touch. So they got up my dad got a drink and went to the washroom. His BP sitting was 80/55 pulse 92. Thermometer was not working so no temp. They couldnt get his standing BP because he was to dizzy to stand long enough to get a reading. He said that he had a headache and it felt like he was suffocating and felt like there was a steel band around his head. My mom is really worried as we all are. They live in a small town (pop.350) nearest medical facilities are a 5 hour drive or the medi vac. Help!! It feels like my dad has taken a turn for the worse and they are so isolated up there.
