Guest guest
I've never had dry heaves for anything like 48 hours. When I do have them I give myself something to barf. (Sorry to be graphic.) Usually some water works. It seems like if I get something in my pouch and my body expels it, the heaves end. BTW, I had them occasionally before weight loss surgery. I don't know why. It just seems like my body tends to have more digestive problems than some people. I think if you've been having them continuously for 48 hours you should think about getting immediate medical help, even if it means going to an emergency room or " doc-in-the-box " clinic. There are suppositories for nausea. Maybe they'll help with heaves, too?
