Guest guest
Doreen: Had my tummy tuck done in April and it was a breeze. Virtually no pain, just extremely sore. Was supposed to be in the hospital for two days, left less than 24 hours after the surgery feeling good. Told the doc I didn't need the Percocet he prescribed, but extra strength Tylenol was not enough. Took some Vicodin and was quite comfortable and up and moving around wearing the binder. I do however, have an extremely high threshold for pain just to let you know. Unfortunately two weeks later I developed what they called a necrotic fat mass right at my left hip bone. Words can't describe the degree of pain I was in. Was on antibiotics and painkillers for two weeks. This is not a common occurrence after tummy tucks, so don't worry. Bottom line, would do it again in a heartbeat. Good luck to you. Regina
