Guest guest
Hi, folks, I know some good old friends are on this list, so it is about time that I joined, too, as the air is getting a bit stale (though not uninteresting) in the newbies lists. I am 18 months post-DS, and have lost much more slowly than most, but still have lost about 65% of my excess weight. Still about 35 pounds to go. 10 pounds of my loss were left on the " cutting room floor " in August when I had abdominoplasty and lower body lift along with hernia repair. I am 62 years old and plan to retire from federal service at the end of the calendar year. No real plans for retirement other than to learn to practice Tai Chi to keep my body limber. My wife will retire one year later than I, and we may do a bit of traveling once we are both retired.
