Guest guest
I am wondering if perhaps the reason that some people can take vitamins and not get a reaction is because they are taking enough prednisone or other immune suppresants to perhaps counteract the effects of the vitamins. I have even tried to take children's vitamins and get the flares. My system is very touchy for any meds though, over the counter or prescription. When I was taking thyroid meds I kept getting severe reactions. Finally, the pharmacist figured out that I was allergic to the dye in the colored pills and once I started taking just the white ones, the allergy settled down. In many cases the vitamins are of great help to people, so I'm not knocking them at all. Those of you who can take them, keep it up, it's probably good for you. If I could take them, I sure would.
