Hi M,

So glad to see you posting to the group.

As to your questions, ears seem to be the main symptom of RP, but some in

our group have never had their ears inflamed from it. Also tender, swollen

nose, eye problems, sore, painful throat, etc.....there is a long list.

RP like most all autoimmune disease does not have a cure, but remission can

and does happen in many. A few in our group are now in remission, so try and

remember that.

As for stages, it varies too. Some people start with one body part affected

and go on to others and some stop the RP in it's tracks after only a while

on meds.

I don't know what you have read so far on RP, but a lot of the stuff online

now is very outdated and the scenario is a lot brighter for us RPers. Be

sure to check out the dates on anything you read about RP. There has been

great improvement on this disease and lots of research is being done now too

for it. So please don't get down about RP, just learn all you can and find a

good Rheumy to help you get your RP in remission.

I do know there are some in the group that practices homeopathic meds for

their RP. I hope they will contact you soon.

.. I need some information on the

symptoms that one has when plagued by this disease. And also, is there a

short life expactency? What kind of stages do they go through? What are we

to expect? And what are the cures, if any. Is there any homeopathic remidies

available, For this disease?

Thank You,

McArthur
