Guest guest
Hi Folks, We are going to the San Francisco area in May to visit our sons and I have booked a room in one of the suites hotels. They have handicapped accessible suites (ride in shower, grab bars, etc) and I found that their Sr or AAA rates were about half of their normal rate and equal to the room rates in another hotel in that area. They include a full buffet breakfast but I wanted a kitchen or kitchenette so that if Gordon was not up to going down for breakfast some mornings we could have cereal or whatever in the room. Our son has already suggested that they bring supper to us that first night since Gordon will probably be tired from the trip.(so will I but I didn't tell him that. He might think my age is catching up with me. :-) There is also a living room so if he's having a tired day and wants to stay in our sons can come over and we have space to sit around and visit or Gordon can go take a nap and the rest of us have a separate room to use. Since we haven't made the trip yet I don't know how all this will work, but it sounds good on paper :-). I just thought it was something you might want to consider if you decide on a hotel. Hope the visits turn out well. Janet O
