Hi there,

I would be sure and watch that ferritin as that is your iron storage. Looks

to me (and this is what the hematologist told me) is that your hemaglobin is

" stealing " from the storage " warehouse " in order to keep the levels up. Once

the " warehouse " is empty, then the hgb starts to fall... just don't let that

happen like I did and end up on iron IV three times a week for the past two

months.

Karan,

You also want to compare these results with your earlier blood work and see

what your trend is. If you are on a downward trend you want to talk to the

surgeona bout what to do.
