Guest guest
, Is it a " guy " thing? Dick does that, too. Always has. Once his head hits that pillow, he is snoring. Never a word outta him. Can't go to bed to snuggle and talk. Alarm goes off, and I hit the snooze button for a good half hour (or more, if I can get away with it. Knowing this, I deliberately set the clock so that I can!). He hears the alarm, and his feet hit the floor before he even hits the off button. I, too, was always an insomniac as a kid. My internal clock says bedtime is about 2 in the morning, and wake up shouldn't be before 10 in the morning, unless there is some really enticing thing on the agenda. Now that I am under such stress, I need more sleep. I go to bed, sometimes drift off right away (well, okay, in the first half hour) and then sleep pretty well. I find that pure physical activity and no naps during the day are the only thing that works for me. Ok, ok. I lie. I also find that a carb before bed works as well or better than any sleeping pill ever did. A piece of toast, buttered and peanut-buttered, and I am out like a light! Alice in NY > I was ALWAYS an insomniac, even as a kid,. So was my mom & one of my kids. > The other is like his father,. Looks at his watch and goes to bed. Alarm > goes off, and he is awake. I find that DISGUSTING. > Thanks, >
