Guest guest
Yes, sorry about that...3/10's of a point. Which is horrible. I had gotten it UP to 6.2 which according to my lab is still low.....6.3-8.5 is considered in the okay range. Now, I'm at 5.9. Albumin isn't wonderful..but okay at 4.0. I'm taking 2 multis. Thanks...I'll check that website. I get their catalog from time to time...but don't have one handy right now. The multi I'm taking right now is a Centrum clone..and only has 25% of the A as beta carotene. I'm not toxic at least, as I once was on the V4L. Guest guest
Hi Jacque, I'm not sure about the vitamin A, however, the hemaglobin " steals " from the ferritin (your warehouse for iron storage) as it was explained to me from the hematologist, thus, to keep that level higher, it's using the storage. I wouldn't stop taking or decrease taking your iron at all, if anything, I might think about INCREASING it so the hemaglobin doesn't have to steal from the ferritin. Guest guest
The vitamin A in the MultiWellness multivitamin sold by Bariatric Supplement Systems is 100% beta carotene. WalGreen also sells a vitamin A supplement that is 100% beta carotene, but that is a separate supplement by itself and not part of a multivitamin. With the exception of BSS, all the bariatric supplement providers use a combination of palmitate and beta carotene for vitamin A supplementation.
