need your good thoughts tomorrow

Everybody:

This relates to previous discussions about changing our lives after

surgery. I need you all to take a moment tomorrow and send me some

good thoughts.

I will be taking an exam for certification in my new field of work.

It's been a loooooong time since I've taken a test; I'm pretty

nervous about it. It should last most of the day, yikes!! Technical

stuff as well as basic professional knowlege will be included. It's a

big step for me; one more step in my transition to a new life, I

guess.

I won't get my results for a month, either. I hate waiting. I'm going

slightly nuts today trying to get ready. I have been in a study group

and most of the people were given today off to study! But not me! So

it'll be the midnight oil burnin at my house tonight.

If I'm successful, I'll be able to put initials after my name on my

business card. Woohoo! The current string of initials I have (for my

masters and doctorate, academic degrees) don't count for much in my

new area of work.
