wonderful,accepting husbands

Most of you know me somewhat. I was 356 pounds on day of surgery, living in

a wheelchair for years, dependent upon my dh for so much.....

Last year, I got dressed for the holiday party (yes, it was my local support

group that put it on, and we DANCED) in a floor-length velvet dress. I

think there are pics in the files. Anyway, my husband has always been

supportive, always told me I look nice when I knew I was barely

acceptable....

But that night, after getting dressed and presenting myself, all he said was

" oooooooohhhhh! "

And that, my friends, made all the difference in how much I enjoyed that

evening! It was a compliment without much said, but it said it all,

perfectly.

I will treasure that one more than any other compliment I have received

since losing 154 pounds!
