Guest guest
I am 3 yr post RNY, the other day I was at a dentist office waiting, so was another lady, she said she was 2.5 yr post Fobi Pouch surgery, I dont know alot about this surgery but she did say this included medial bypass, she went from approx 400# to 250# stopped losing a year ago. She said she and Dr.Fobi thought she should lose more and he offered or reccommended going back to surgery to become a " distal " . How common is it to go back to become more distal? she said she had zero complications no SLD etc... Im at 230# and have stopped losing but have never thought about becoming more distal, until now. Just curious to see if anyone has done this or if your WLS has mentioned this . Thanks, Ann in SoCal
