Guest guest Posted July 10, 2002 Report Share Posted July 10, 2002 I live in Riverdale, land, near New Carrollton and Landover. It is definitely a small world. Dr. Afram did my wls in May 2000. I am 5' 11 " . I beat you both by one inch. Unfortunatey, I never made it to my goal. May be there's still time. My starting weight was 353 lbs and I went down to 210 lbs for a brief moment and then began to creep back up. I am now at 227 lbs at 2 yr. 2 mos. post op. I think my 18 mos. check up was the last time I lost weight. Ever since then I have gradually picked up weight. I know my eating habits arent' too good because I find myself grazing, I stopped drinking my water and I stopped exercising. But, I just recently thought about getting my plumbing checked just to make sure the equipment is still in tact. If I find out there's nothing wrong, I will know that it's me. I plan on making an appointment to get an endoscopy. I think that's the test that determines whether there is an sld or any other problems going on.
