Guest guest
Hi, everything went well. They hydrated Dan and he got 2 units of plasma before surgery. He really enjoyed the ambulance ride to Central. First nice day in weeks and the sun was even out, no rain! .Once there............. he got anxious but that's understandable. He'd gotten jolted around from bed to bed, now there's bright lights and all these different people poking at him. and asking questions. The doctor anestithysed him(? spelling,) did the endoscopy and Found lots of ulcers in his stomach. they also stretched the esophagus to 8mm and in three weeks they'll do it again, then stretch it to 15mm. So, we have one more hurdle to cross. Thanks for keeping us in your prayers. Tonight,His residual is high........ so they have him on an IV and are also draining his stomach contents. He got another unit of plasma, no temp and BP is normal. respiratory rate is fluctuating but remember he did not get any meds from 6am to his first dose at 6pm. will see him in the morning. Again, thank you for keeping us in your prayers.
