Hey Estela,

Those body fat scales are VERY unreliable, especially since we tend

to be all lopsided during weight loss. I know my weight loss went

from the top down, so my bottom half was much bigger than my top half

for quite a while, which would have thrown any body fat reading off.

I would have your body fat measured by a trained professional, who

will also be the first to tell you that there is no truly accurate

way to measure, since almost no one is perfectly proportioned. But

scales are the least reliable way to go, I promise. I had mine done

at my gym recently and they took at least 5 measurements from

different parts of my body before computing them together to get a

number.

Open RNY Seattle, WA Simonowitz 6/18/01: 270, jeans size 26 women's

Now: 124, jeans size 3 or 5 juniors (bought my first pair of stretch

jeans! Yea!)
