Guest guest
Tia: When I went for my consultation with the plastic surgeon it was for tummy tuck and brest lift/reduction. Insurance approvoed both procedures within 15 minutes of my visit. I suppose a new world record. Anyway, surgeon didn't want to do both procedures at the same time as I would be under anesthesia too long (approximately 8-9) hours, so I chose to have the tummy tuck done and he thre in an outer thigh lift for free!!! Anyway, glad I didn't have the " boobs " done so to speak. Have a big frame and am still wide and if I were to have my boobs lifted and reduced, I would be out of proportion. Right now I've got a pretty decent figure (I'm trying to be humble here) and decided that I'm going to leave the boobs alone until I need that incisional hernia repair, which hopefully won't be for a long time. I'm actually glad he couldn't do the both procedures at once in my case. In regards to the insurance paying, all companies have different criteria, but if you're getting infections underneath your breasts, back pain, etc., your chances are definately higher in having the procedure covered. As for me, mine are no worse than any of my 40 year old girlfriends look and decent bras help the situation. Good luck to you.
