Guest guest
Hey Gang, I loaded my blood work file from 1 month post op to today's 2 year blood work. My Iron, Serum is high and I have no clue what that means for me. Iron makes me really sick -- I never have been able to take an iron supplement, not even the children's chewable w/iron -- no iron and I don't eat foods high in iron except fish some times. Maybe it is just a fluke or something -- the doctor called and told me to stop taking any iron supplements -- I said, " I don't! " and she said... good... watch your foods too... I explained to her how iron just makes me sick (always has) -- I really thought I was going to be in deep trouble with low iron and here I am over the top with high iron. In this case it is just the " Iron, Serum " part of the whole TIBC testing... anyone have a clue or is this more likely just an error? hugz, ~denise
