Guest guest
Hi guys, I've been on vacation for a month, and it looks like I missed out on a rousing Calcium debate. Bummer! Oh well, I just got the results of my blood work. My doctor said I need to take more iron, as evidenced by a low hematocrit and hemoglobin. Ok, I can do that. But the doctor didn't find anything else to mention in my results. Of course I asked to have copies of all the results sent to me. When I looked them over, I noticed that my folate is off the scale. The normal range is 4.2 - 19.9, and I have been running around 13 in previous tests. This time my result says >20. Does anyone know what would cause this to be so high? And, does it matter at all, or should I just ignore it? The doctor was either not concerned, or didn't notice it. Thanks for any ideas, Lynn www.karagory.com/wls.html
