Okay, I got my labs back today. I'm not taking any extra vitamin A, and my

levels are still too high. Does anyone know of a brand of multi that uses

only beta carotene as a source for vitamin A? I can't cut back on my multi's

as I will be shorting myself in other areas....but need to change the type of

A in them, I think. My Iron showed up 1 pt high...but my ferritin levels

dropped...not into the low zone...but a drop none-the-less. My doc was

suggesting I cut back on my iron based on the 1 pt high reading...I'm

thinking that level is not a real true picture of what is really happening

since the ferritin levels are lower. I'm not in a hurry to lower my iron

intake on this alone. What say you experts? My protein levels suck big

time...which is making me think I will try possibly a papaya enzyme only

before taking the protein drinks. My Albumin is holding its own

though...what is the relationship between the albumin and protein levels? My

protein dropped 3 pts, but albumin stayed the same within normal limits. I'm

going to cross post this to the Grad list to try and get more answers if

possible.

Regards~
