Ordinarily, I would not comment unless asked directly about such difficult

circumstances, ....Just my two cent's worth, I have to agree with ,

the feelings you are describing may be those of not wanting to do " many

things, " perhaps feeling de-energized. One of the ways we have of

evaluationg a person's situation is by how many options they can think of to

solve a problem, and how dogged they are about pursing all of them without

cease. When options are hard to think of, or rejected consistently and not

followed through on, sometimes this can mean there is a depression that is

interfering with many things, amonst them a person's ability to hope and to

have strong follow-through with options.

This is just my very very two cent's worth. In my honest opinion, this may be

a medical issue that I think all of us would like to support you to see about

that. You deserve to live a happy life. Every day can't be happy, but parts

of every day can be, and ought to be. I feel very concerned that you say you

have no friends and you cannot make friends. I agree with others here that

having a therapist to tell the whole story to (it's okay to take up space),

and receiving face to face time with someone who can see you and help you

directly is a good idea. Even MN has therapists, even if it feels like it

doesn't have much else.

hang in there, and let us know what you do. Certainly writing to this list

is doing something. But you also deserve to have more. May I ask are you

working, and what kind of work do you do?

eating is a way to bury those feelings that are too overwhelming to

deal with. You say you want to experience the emotions, but then you

push them down with food.

Just something to think about.
