Guest guest
Does anyone have some residual neuropathy from the days when they used to be diabetic? My diabetes is gone, but the neuropathy is driving me crazy, and getting worse all the time. I knew there was little hope it could be reversed, but the endocrinologist had told me the only way to STOP it from progressing was to get my blood sugars under control. Well, my blood sugars have been normal for several months now, but the neuropathy just keeps getting worse. I've had some tests for it, and the neurologist has told me I fall into the 25% category, where 25% of the time, the docs can't pinpoint a cause or reason for it. All he can do is treat the symptoms. So far I've refused medication. I'm NOT a drug user unless it's the last resort. I just hate putting stuff in my bod that doesn't belong there. Has anyone been on neurontin? How has it worked for you? Is there any reason why " we " should not take it? Thanks, Carol A
