Guest guest Posted May 9, 2001 Report Share Posted May 9, 2001 I am scheduled for cervical surgery because of a herniated disk in my neck in two weeks. Do you think any of my medications would be a problem? I am on 2.5mg Prednisone and 100mg. of Imuran. I worry about not healing or bleeding too much. Has anyone in the group ever had this surgery? The unknown can be very frightning. I will have a bone fusion and a plate put on my spine to strengthen it. Tonight I am going to start taking Oxycontin for pain, Percoset didn't really seem to help me. Any info about the surgery or the medication would be greatly appreciated.
