Guest guest
Hi Jim/Connie and rest of group, The Pharmacist looked up the side effects on all the frequently prescribed prescriptions for urinary frequency and urgency....I don't believe this search included incontinence....and said that listed for each (either in the common side effects area or the less common side effects areas) was a sentence about " not using this drug if you have experienced problems with unstabilized or low blood pressure " . The curious thing is that it seems to not be a problem with the general population...but with PD/MSA/OH. Wonder what the connection is? If your urologist and neurologist both approved the Ditropan XL then I am sure that they are aware of possible side effects and believed that the good outweighed the bad in Connie's case. " Did the druggist tell you why?.....
