Guest guest
Dearest Gay B., Yes, you are right with the Pepto Bismuth and Manuka honey, but if the infection is severe, then the cocktail of antibiotics need to be taken and the naturopathy alone will not help, I guess these days the H. Pylori has become antibiotic resistant, the course of antibiotics is only 7 days and it cures, so one should not delay in treating H. Pylori, it is not a chronic disease like colitis, Therefore I say again, eradication of H. Pylori is a must, or else it can lead to stomach cancer. I respect the SCD, it is very good for many things, but I am sorry to say that the SCD does not cure H. Pylori, only antibiotics can cure it. Sandhya http://lyris.dundee.net/read/messages?id=267533#267533Too busy with autism to go into ulcers. But it has healed ulcerative colitis. Give SCD a try. BED SORES Put the darkest honey on the bed sore and put a large bandage over it In the next morning. Take a look and you will see it is much better. Pylori Hello Friend, I am a person who can write a thesis on H. Pylori and I will do that after I complete my first book (my mother;s biography). If you are a H. Pylori sufferer, immediately start antibiotic therapy. I have had H. P. infection already 5 times in my life and everytime it was horrible. In 2008 it did irrepairable harm and it ended up in chronic colitis. if untreated, H. Pylori can even lead to stomach cancer , pls remember that. these days there are anti-biotic resistant H. Pylori also and I had that last year , the antibiotic Levofloxacin will treat that, it did eradicate my H. Pylori but later it caused chronic colitis. So my sincere advice is , the diet will not solve this problem as Terry Rumas has already written to you, you need to take antibiotics , not only one, but a cocktail of antibiotics. So pls take your cocktail 1st line therapy for H. Pylori: Amoxycillin, Bismuth, Clarithromycin (7-14 days) with PPI (Omeprazol, Esomeprazol or Pantoprazol or Rabeprazol) You need to perform H. Pylori breath test after 4 weeks, to check if the H. Pylori is goine, if not, that mean you have resistant H. Pylori and you need to take a rescue therapy, another cocktails of antibiotics the new cocktail (rescue therapy) is: Levofloxacin with Amoxycillin and PPI or Rifabutin with Amoxycillin and PPI Doctors say H. Pylori are common in poor nations due to poor hygiene and colitis are common in rich nations due to over-cleaniness. I come from a poor nation, however, I have both, H. Pylori and colitis, perhaps only God can answer my question why I have both. If anything more you would like to know on H. Pylori, do not hesitate to ask me. Experience has blessed me with a Ph. D. in H. Pylori. Guest guest
I have to agree with Sandhya on this--H. Pylori has changed since Elaine was around, as have a a lot of bacteria. Not only has it become antibiotic resistant, it knows how to hide from stomach acid ( and therefore tx with Betaine HCL is useless) and burrow into cells to escape death. So, while Manuka honey and Bismuth may be wonderful adjuncts--antibiotic tx is necessary to eradicate, H. Pylori leads to ulcer and gastric cancer. Terry I have a Ph. D. in H.
