Guest guest
Jodi, Glad I could make you laugh. Interesting--I didn't know you could get gout from chicken liver. What is your grandma's recipe? Hey--I just thought of something for Tonya--my grandmother's chopped liver recipe--now that's a good way to disguise liver! I'm going to have to get it from my Dad--it was his Mom's recipe. Put that on a couple of the Kitchen Table Baker's gourmet wafer crisps and that's going to be great. Thanks for stirring up that memory, Jodi! Terry .. Guest guest
I've been cooking chicken livers and making a nice liver mousse Child style in my cast iron lodge ware. Find 's recipe and I promise you'll love it and I am not a liver lover - just pates. I have also used my cast iron pan faithfully every day and sure enough my iron level is at a record high. BTW - don't ever wash your pan out just use paper towels. CD - 4 yrs SCD -
Guest guest
I wash mine according to the directions at http://whatscookingamerica.net/Information/CastIronPans.htm . If you don't wash it, the old oil that is left on the pan will eventually go rancid.
