Guest guest
How strict are folks about maintaining 72 degree room temp when making yogurt? Yurgomet even includes a a separate instruction sheet warning users about regulating summer temps, especially. I live in NC and would really have to crank the AC to keep my house at 72 degrees, and it would probably feel lots cooler than that. tom ibs scd 7/
Guest guest
I just put mine in the coolest area of the house during the summer, sometimes it's the garage. Guest guest
I wouldn’t worry about it. I live in moldy, oldy Houston and it’s 100 degrees or more here. My window AC unit is never able to keep up with the heat. I make yogurt weekly and have never had a problem, no matter what the temperature of my kitchen is (usually pretty warm!). (I used to live in western NC near Waynesville – I love NC!)
