Guest guest
Last night I got a mindsplitting headache - went to bed early. This morning, slight headache, bad nausea. Could it be die-off? (At 6 months?) Anybody else experience this? Wasn't sure what I should be doing, or if this is just a migraine or virus. Thanks for any insight, heather UC 12y, scd 6m
Guest guest
, I had the exact same thing (with the lovely addition of vomiting, shaking and a feeling of what I imagine it would be like to be tripping on bad acid good times...). I chalked it up to die-off since I wasn't sick the next day, just tired and I hadn't vomited since I was a little girl...it isn't what I do when I am sick. I am not 100% SCD but I AM eating less than 10% of the sugar and starches I used to and I think that was enough to cause a big die-off of whatever nasties I was supporting...lol. So, yeah, the bad headache, bad nausea is pretty classic from what I have read. My kids get squirrelly and whiny when they have die-off...I don't know exactly what hurts other than their tummies. I give my kids a capsule of activated charcoal stirred into honey (monster honey, cuz it's black) when they have die-off but when I took some myself I promptly vomited my guts out. That might be a good thing, I am on the fence about it, myself. Anyway...wait 2 hours after eating before taking charcoal and 30 minutes before eating or it will absorb the food instead of the die-off stuff. Like I said...good times. What is nice is that afterward I felt great and continue to have more energy than I have in years. I am also more patient and in a better mood and I was pretty patient and cheerful to begin with!! It has been a wonderful thing, though it was kinda yucky getting here.
